Description

The purpose of this lesson is for students to think critically about where they stand on political issues and how those ideas align with the beliefs of either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.  In order to do this, the students will need to visit Diffen.com where they type in Clinton and Trump.  After typing in these names the students will then take the information displayed and make two ven diagrams using Venn Diagram Visualizer and compare themselves to Trump in one diagram and Clinton in the other.  After completing these diagrams, the students will go to isidewith.com and take the political quiz.  This political quiz will show who you side with the most but you do not see the results until the end.  The students should then compare their results from Diffen.com (when they knew who sided with what issue) to isidewith.com.  Using Google Docs the students should then write a reflection comparing who they agreed with in the two polls.  They should explain whether the two political quizzes matched up.  If not then why do they feel that way?  Are they surprised by their results etc.
